Meet Brett Benson, proud owner of Blingle of North Milwaukee! Bringing with him the experience of starting 3 successful businesses, Brett chose to make the leap to Blingle, and the future couldn’t be brighter! Brett’s vision is to be North Milwaukee’s clear choice for all outdoor lighting and event needs, and his team can’t wait to help brighten up your home, office, or event!

Brett has called Milwaukee home for the past 3 years, and he along with is 4 children consider the natural beauty of the area an exceptional place to live! When he isn’t out working to brighten the homes and businesses in North Milwaukee, Brett and his family can be found taking long walks, enjoying outdoor concerts, and finding their next favorite restaurant! Brett is also fond of a good cup of coffee, fishing, hunting, golf, and hitting the gym. On a personal level, Brett is always on the lookout for ways to make a difference in someone’s life in a tangible way.

About Me

I’m Derek Coy—a proud husband to my best friend, Kariann, and dad to five amazing kids. We live in Lemont, Illinois, where family life keeps us wonderfully full:
• Olivia (21) is at Butler University
• Lia (19) is at Illinois State University
• Ava (19)—Lia’s twin—is also at Butler
• Ella (18) is at Western Michigan University
• Jack (16) is a sophomore at Lemont High School

We share our home with three lovable dogs—Paco, Shirley, and Harry—who add even more fun (and a little chaos) to our days.

I’m an avid sports fan who loves playing golf and fishing whenever I get the chance. I cheer passionately for the Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks, and I never miss an opportunity to catch a game.

My greatest joy is spending time with Kariann and the kids—whether we’re cheering at games, attending performances, or just relaxing together. I love being present for every milestone and everyday moment—family is truly the center of my life.

Meet Braun Benson Lighting Specialist and Brand Champion for Blingle! Braun is well versed in installing landscape, permanent and holiday lighting. He also has sales experience and frequently attends networking and young professional events. 

In his spare time he enjoys sports, concerts, reading and spending time with his friends and family.
